Their raw, unpolished character makes them an appealing addition to a mineral collection, a small display or a personal meditation space.

Listed as double terminated, these points have irregular ends rather than the perfectly symmetrical tips of a shaped and polished crystal. Double terminated crystals develop terminations at both ends where growth conditions allow. Citrine is the yellow to golden variety of quartz; its colour is associated with iron-related features within the mineral. Rough specimens retain the uneven surfaces and individual growth features that give each crystal its own character.

Crystal Properties

In crystal traditions, citrine is associated with abundance, optimism and personal confidence. Often called the “merchant’s stone”, it is believed to encourage motivation, creativity and a positive outlook. It is also linked with the solar plexus chakra and may be used as a symbolic focus for intention-setting or meditation. These associations are spiritual beliefs, not medical benefits.

Specimen Details

Material: Natural citrine

Form: Rough double terminated crystal point

Length: Approximately 45–55mm

Finish: Raw and unpolished

Origin: Zambia, South Africa

Natural crystals vary in colour, clarity, shape and surface texture.
