A palm-sized polished black marble, hollowed just deep enough to cradle a standard tea light. The domed shape sits low and steady on a table, and the stone's white and pale grey veining catches the light so every piece reads a little differently.

Geology & Formation

Marble begins life as limestone on an ancient sea floor, built up from shell and coral debris over millions of years. Heat and pressure deep in the earth recrystallise those carbonate grains into an interlocking mosaic, while traces of other minerals migrate through the rock and set as the pale veins and dark mottling you can see running across each holder.

Marble is traditionally associated with grounding, calm and clarity of thought. Many people believe it may help with settling a busy mind and creating a sense of stability in a space, which is why it is a popular choice for meditation corners and evening rituals. Care

Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners, which can dull polished marble. Allow the holder to cool fully before handling, and always burn candles on a heat-safe surface and never leave a lit flame unattended.
